Wind Hub Technician

GE Vernova
•$33 - $44•Onsite

About The Position

The Wind Technician performs local travel within the hub and helps maintain optimal wind site function and output through daily turbine operations, safety, quality control, and warranty repairs. The technician works with site and hub leadership to meet customer contract requirements and timelines, and communicates with the Site Lead and Manager to ensure alignment with GE standards. The role supports electrical and mechanical equipment used in GE wind turbine generators, troubleshoots turbine issues, documents completed work, and may coordinate with GE’s remote operations center. The position is not remote according to the job description’s work-location notice: the technician works at wind sites within Hub ME1 and reports to assigned sites as directed by a manager. The posting also includes a conflicting “#LI-Remote” label stating that it is a remote position.
