About The Position

Cargill is hiring a part-time Wilbur Chocolate Store Clerk in its Food Enterprise. The role supports retail store operations by packing confections and specialty kitchen items, stocking shelves, assisting customers, and completing related tasks. The available schedule is evenings on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The position requires standing for the entire scheduled shift and performing physical tasks such as walking, lifting, climbing, and twisting.

Requirements

Right to work in the U.S., not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
Must be at least 18 years old to work in a production facility.
Ability to perform physical job duties, including standing and walking for the duration of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, and twisting safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
Dependability and a positive team attitude.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer skills.
Retail and customer service experience.
High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years of equivalent work experience.
Experience in a food production environment.

Responsibilities

Pack bulk and gift confections and assist with producing and packing specialty kitchen items as needed.
Fill store shelves and assist with related retail tasks.
Provide high-quality customer service and assistance to store customers.
Learn and maintain personal and food safety GMPs.
Learn to use a weight scale.
Learn and operate a touch-screen cash register accurately and quickly to check out customers.
Understand and follow all safety rules and regulations.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
