About The Position

Perform end‑to‑end user experience testing of gateways, Wi‑Fi extenders, and home networking devices, covering functional, performance, regression, and interoperability scenarios. Validate Wi‑Fi technologies including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, mesh networking, band steering, roaming, and wireless backhaul. Analyze and troubleshoot issues across end-to-end. Work with protocols such as DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, TCP/UDP and other connectivity standards. Collaborate closely with development, product, and architecture teams to ensure high‑quality, stable releases. Conduct root‑cause analysis, identify quality gaps, and recommend improvements. Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and help shape test strategy at a product/feature level.

Requirements

• Strong experience (5–8+ years) in device testing, wireless networking or broadband hardware.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, debugging, and documentation skills.
• Mandatory skills: Wi-Fi Testing, Automation Testing, Networking protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end user experience testing of gateways, Wi‑Fi extenders, and home networking devices, covering functional, performance, regression, and interoperability scenarios.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts (Java, cucumber) to increase coverage and efficiency.
• Validate Wi‑Fi technologies including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, mesh networking, band steering, roaming, and wireless backhaul.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues across end-to-end.
• Work with protocols such as DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, TCP/UDP and other connectivity standards.
• Drive automation strategy, improve test processes, and contribute to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and architecture teams to ensure high‑quality, stable releases.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, identify quality gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and help shape test strategy at a product/feature level.
