About The Position
The Shipping/Receiving forklift driver pulls product orders from warehouse bays and loads them onto trucks for shipment to customers. The role also unloads incoming trucks and stores products in warehouse bays. Work is performed using powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and box clamp lifts. The driver verifies incoming and outgoing product accuracy, as well as bay and inventory accuracy. Employees must follow Graphic Packaging International work rules, its code of conduct, and all safety procedures and policies. Required personal protective equipment includes steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and safety goggles. The role also includes Safe Quality Food responsibilities: complying with safety, quality, and sanitation standards; reporting injuries, hazards, and potential quality issues; preventing defective materials or products from moving through the work process; and maintaining good sanitation and housekeeping.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Pull product orders from warehouse bays and load products onto trucks for shipment to customers.
- Unload products from trucks and store them in warehouse bays.
- Use powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and box clamp lifts, to handle products.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing products, warehouse bays, and inventory.
- Follow company work rules, code of conduct, safety procedures, and policies, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Comply with safety standards, remain focused on safe work practices, and report injuries and potential hazards.
- Comply with quality standards by preventing defective materials and products from entering or passing through the work process and reporting potential quality issues.
- Comply with sanitation standards and maintain facility appearance and condition through good housekeeping.
