About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Wholesale/Outside Sales Partsperson to join their team at Kendall Auto Mall of Nampa. The parts department is a fast-paced environment serving technicians and clients by selling OEM and aftermarket parts. The dealership serves the local and surrounding rural communities, ensuring a consistent workload. This is not an entry-level position. The role involves selling parts to auto body shops, independent repair facilities, and other wholesale businesses through various communication channels. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, assisting wholesale customers, obtaining parts information, resolving issues, creating invoices, processing orders, returns, and warranties, and receiving parts. The position also serves as back-up for the retail parts person. Effective communication, the ability to make recommendations, and prioritize tasks are essential. Daily visits to wholesale customers and parts delivery are expected. The role requires working both indoors and outdoors, with up to 75% of the shift spent visiting wholesale and independent shops. Standing and walking for up to 30% of the shift is necessary for assisting customers and delivering parts. Carrying and lifting 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds rarely is required for moving parts. Requirements

  • This is not an entry level position.
  • Automotive parts experience, including inventory control.
  • Knowledge of electronic parts catalogue, manufacturer programs and warranties.
  • Experience in dealer/aftermarket parts/outside sales required.
  • Good driving record and valid driver license.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with manufacturer specific catalogues is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Selling parts to auto body shops and independent repair facilities and other wholesale business via phone, fax, email internet or direct sales.
