About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Wholesale/Outside Sales Partsperson to join their team at Kendall Auto Mall of Nampa. The parts department is a fast-paced environment that serves dealership technicians and community clients by selling OEM and aftermarket parts. This role involves selling parts to auto body shops, independent repair facilities, and other wholesale businesses through various communication channels and direct sales. The position requires maintaining inventory records, assisting wholesale customers, obtaining parts information, resolving issues, creating invoices, processing orders, returns, and warranties, and receiving parts. The role also serves as a backup retail parts person. Close collaboration with customers and technicians is expected, requiring effective communication, the ability to make recommendations, and prioritize tasks. Daily visits to wholesale customers and parts delivery are part of the job. The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings, with up to 75% of the shift spent visiting wholesale and independent shops. Standing and walking for up to 30% of the shift is necessary for assisting clients and delivering parts. Carrying and lifting 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds rarely is required for moving parts. Requirements

  • Automotive parts experience.
  • Inventory control experience.
  • Knowledge of electronic parts catalogue.
  • Knowledge of manufacturer programs and warranties.
  • Good driving record.
  • Valid driver license.

  • Experience with manufacturer specific catalogues is preferred.
