About The Position

The Whiskey Ambassador will lead scheduled and private tours of High West's distillery and production areas, covering history, raw ingredients, fermentation, distillation, and maturation. This role involves explaining High West's blending philosophy and what distinguishes their whiskeys in the American whiskey category. The ambassador will navigate guests through multiple spaces and tasting rooms with confidence and situational awareness. They will also facilitate structured flight tastings, guiding guests through nosing and palate evaluation in an approachable manner, and represent the brand professionally at external off-premise tastings and event tasting stations. The role requires tailoring the depth and language of tastings to the audience, maintaining current and accurate knowledge of all High West products, including tasting profiles, production methods, and release context, as well as the history of all three High West venues.
