Coordinates and implements wellness programs to meet the needs of select populations (e.g., employees, children, physicians), working in partnership with department leaders. Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in program coordination and implementation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Nutrition, Exercise Science, Behavioral Health, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledgeable about principles and practices of health promotion, disease management, and wellness program evaluation
  • Competent using analytical, statistical, reporting, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel and Access)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including ability to manage time and multiple assignments, shift priorities, and work independently and within teams
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Plans, implements, and evaluates wellness programs.
  • Coordinates with key partners on programs, projects, and initiatives.
  • Conducts surveys and focus groups.
  • Tracks program participation and effectiveness.
  • Provides program data analysis reports and recommends opportunities for improvement.
  • Helps process invoices, maintain budget spreadsheets, and reconcile monthly transaction reports.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and issues.
  • Helps develop and distribute communication tools to promote programs and events.
  • Participates in wellness events.
  • May coordinate health fairs (e.g., scheduling presenters and classes).
  • May troubleshoot database technical issues and workflow processes (e.g., creating and editing reports, documents, and queries).
