About The Position

Spring Arbor of Crossville is hiring a full-time Wellness Nurse (LPN) to supervise the delivery of care and services to residents. The nurse performs procedures in accordance with state and local regulations, accepted standards of care, and company policy. Ongoing communication with associates, residents and their families, professional consultants, and third-party providers is essential to residents’ welfare. The listed schedule is 2 PM–10 PM; the posting also refers to an overnight shift.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with the state licensing agency, as required by state regulations.
• CPR/AED certification.
• At least one year of experience working as an LPN in a senior care setting.
• Positive criminal background screening.
• Must adhere to the company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates and other designated personnel in meeting residents’ needs.
• Monitor the condition of residents in assisted living.
• Make sound decisions and assign work.
• Meet regularly with associates to identify and correct problem areas and improve care and services.
• Provide resident care according to health care provider orders, regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and company policy.
• Accurately administer prescribed medications and supervise continuity of resident care.
• Respond to changes in residents’ conditions, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care.
• Perform first aid as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
