About The Position

The Wellness Nurse provides personal care, assistance, support, and companionship to residents. The role includes administering or assisting with medication according to each resident’s care plan, checking on residents’ wellbeing, and communicating changes in condition or care plans. The nurse also supports the team and collaborates with the Health Services Director to assess and document resident assessments at state- or Brightview-specified intervals.

Requirements

• Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing.
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse or Practical/Vocational Nurse.
• At least one year of experience in assisted living, hospice, home health, acute care, or long-term care.
• Positive attitude and enjoyment of working with people.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging personal care, assistance, support, and companionship to residents.
• Administer or assist with medication according to the Resident Care Plan.
• Engage residents while checking on their wellbeing and communicate changes in condition or care plans.
• Inspire the team and collaborate with the Health Services Director on resident assessments and documentation at state- or Brightview-specified intervals.
