About The Position

The Wellness Nurse provides personal care, assistance, support, and companionship to residents. The nurse administers or assists with medications according to each resident’s Care Plan, checks on residents’ wellbeing, and communicates changes in their condition or Care Plan. The role also involves inspiring the team and collaborating with the Health Services Director to assess and document resident assessments at state- or Brightview-specified intervals. The listed pay range is USD $32.25–$38.75 per hour; compensation offers may reflect experience, qualifications, location, community size, certifications, and training.

Requirements

Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing.
Current state license as a Registered Nurse or Practical/Vocational Nurse.
Minimum of one year of experience in an assisted living, hospice, home health, acute care, or long-term care environment.
Positive attitude and enjoyment of working with people.

Responsibilities

Provide warm and engaging personal care services, assistance, support, and companionship.
Administer or assist with medication for residents according to the Resident Care Plan.
Engage residents while checking on their wellbeing and communicate changes in condition or Care Plan.
Inspire the team and collaborate with the Health Services Director in assessing and documenting resident assessments at state- or Brightview-specified intervals.
