LPN/Nurse Manager $35-40.75 (PRN)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a PRN Wellness Nurse Manager for Wellington located at 1051 Kent St, Liberty, MO 64068. This role involves being a Superior Supervisor, acting in charge of the building in the absence of department heads, and leading the Wellness team. A Force on the Floor means being available to assist with call lights and requests, demonstrating a sense of urgency to meet resident needs. A Diligent Documenter ensures resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents are completed accurately and filed correctly. Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment.
- Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
- Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents!
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) as it is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
- In the absence of department heads, this position is in charge of the building.
- Be active in the department, assisting and leading the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
- Be available to help with call lights, requests for assistance from the team, and demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts the needs, great or small, of a resident first.
- Resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents should be completed accurately and efficiently, and filed correctly.
- Ensure each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.
- Provide direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
