About The Position
The Wellness Director or Director of Nursing oversees resident care and health-related services at The Ashton at the Greens, a Sonida Senior Living assisted living and memory care community in St. Augustine, Florida. The position ensures that care activities comply with applicable state and federal regulations and community policies, and builds working relationships with community health professionals and residents’ health care providers.
Requirements
- Licensed or Registered Nurse (RN or LPN).
- At least three to five years of in-home health or geriatric nursing experience in a similar position.
- Two to four years of supervisory experience required.
Responsibilities
- Assure implementation of policies and procedures relating to resident care and oversee health-related services.
- Manage, coordinate, and direct activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations and community policies and procedures.
- Establish working relationships with health care professionals in the community, including residents’ health care providers.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
