Responsible for the implementation of quality nutritional care and nutritional programming for the outpatient population, including assessment of nutritional status, outpatient counseling, interdisciplinary communication, wellness program implementation, and community outreach and education programs. Serves as a resource in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and programs related to nutritional care and nutrition education. Focus areas include, but are not limited to, pediatrics, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, food allergies and sensitivities, sports, weight management, wellness and prevention, eating disorders and disordered eating, neuro-divergent patients, integrative and functional medicine, food, culinary and supermarkets, communities and public health, nutrition education, and management.
