About The Position

The Wellness Coordinator is a key position at Scenthound, focused on selling memberships while providing exceptional service to every customer. The role is suited to a goal-oriented team member with a passion for sales, customer service, dogs, and dog health and wellness. Successful coordinators are outgoing, self-motivated, independent problem solvers, and compassionate dog lovers. The position offers a training path for team members who want to advance to Scenthound Manager.

Requirements

• Sales experience and confidence; membership sales are highly valued.
• Customer service experience, such as in retail or restaurants.
• Computer and technology proficiency.
• Passion for dogs and dog health and wellness.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment.
• Commitment to the company’s mission and core values.
• Confidence selling services and products.
• Ability to connect with customers, both canine and human, and provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to learn products and services and educate dog parents about them, including communicating the company’s values and culture.
• Effective communication with team members and dog parents, in person and on the phone.
• Ability to solve problems independently using Scenthound’s values and culture as a guide.
• Attention to detail.
• Time-management skills and ability to schedule appointments efficiently.
• Accountability and willingness to hold oneself and others to Scenthound standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive membership sales through health and wellness education.
• Drive key performance indicators, including average ticket price and rebook ratio, through memberships, service add-ons, and retail sales.
• Develop membership leads and follow up with potential members.
• Answer phone calls, schedule customer appointments, and manage customer profiles and records.
• Manage the cash drawer and handle daily cash transactions.
• Manage customer expectations, resolve customer concerns, and retain memberships.
• Follow Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices and keep the reception area clean and presentable.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager.
