Wellness / Activities Assistant
About The Position
Lifetime Wellness is seeking a compassionate, creative, Full or Part-Time Wellness Assistant to join our teams in McKinney and Plano. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating meaningful, engaging, and person-centered experiences for older adults in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The Wellness Assistant is responsible for assisting in leading programs that support the physical, social, emotional, intellectual, vocational and spiritual well-being of residents. This position works closely with residents, families, community partners, and team members to create a vibrant and purposeful environment.
Requirements
- Ability to lead creative, meaningful, and resident-centered programs.
- Compassionate, dependable, energetic, and team-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in senior living, long-term care, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare life enrichment programming preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging group and individual activities that promote quality of life, social connection, independence, and personal fulfillment.
- Complete activity participation documentation records as required.
- Support resident engagement through creative programming, special events, wellness campaigns, and community involvement.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and team members.
- Promote a positive, encouraging, and inclusive environment for all residents.
