About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a Welding Robot Operator to help build truck and trailer parts using robotic welding technology. The role involves programming and preparing welding robots for production, troubleshooting and debugging equipment, and improving production cycle time and throughput. The position is located at 129 Canal Rd, Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania 19030, and the listed schedule is 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. The position involves working around machinery and other potential hazards and requires the ability to move at least 50 pounds, assisted or unassisted.

Requirements

Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Able to read and interpret welding blueprints.
Able to pass print-reading, measurement, and fraction/decimal-conversion tests.
Demonstrate a high level of mechanical aptitude; non-traditional backgrounds are welcome.
Excellent computer skills.
Able to travel for machine-specific training with the robotic company.
Knowledge and experience using GMAW processes.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Program, troubleshoot, debug, and prepare welding robots for production.
Teach and train robot operators and programmers.

Diagnose and correct machine issues.
