Welding and Fabrication QC
About The Position
Pro Mechanical Services Co. is seeking a Welding and Metal Fabrication QC for a local facility focused on metal fabrication. This is a full-time W-2 position. The role involves conducting quality audits, inspecting product dimensions with precision measuring instruments, collecting and analyzing data, implementing quality control processes, collaborating with the QA/QC team, and inspecting and fabricating components to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. The second shift is available. The schedule is Monday through Friday, eight hours per day, with some Saturdays. Overtime is available. Pay is $25–$28 per hour, based on experience, with weekly pay.
Requirements
- Metal fabrication and welding background.
- On-the-job quality control experience.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, fabrication, welding, and manufacturing.
- Knowledge of welding and manufacturing techniques.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality audits to verify products meet specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers to inspect product dimensions.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement quality control processes in line with CGMP guidelines.
- Collaborate with the QA/QC team to maintain and improve quality systems.
- Inspect and fabricate components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
