About The Position

Pro Mechanical Services Co. is seeking a Welding and Metal Fabrication QC for a full-time W-2 position at a local facility focused on metal fabrication. The role involves inspecting fabricated and welded components, verifying that products meet specifications and quality standards, and supporting quality systems. The position is on second shift. Pay is $25–$28 per hour, based on experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, eight hours per day, with some Saturdays. Overtime is available, and pay is weekly.

Requirements

• Metal fabrication and welding background.
• On-the-job QC experience.
• Proven experience in quality assurance, fabrication, welding, and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of welding and manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality audits to verify products meet specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers to inspect product dimensions.
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Implement quality control processes in line with CGMP guidelines.
• Collaborate with the QA/QC team to maintain and improve quality systems.
• Inspect and fabricate components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
