About The Position
Welds a variety of fabricated parts, structural steel and related materials in accordance with established engineering and manufacturing specifications to produce commercial weldments within reasonable and/or expected time frames. Accurately sets and maintains MIG welding machines to required heat and amperage. Cuts, forms, deburs, punches, and shears a variety of metal materials. Sets up and operates all required manually controlled fabrication machinery and hand operated tools.
Requirements
- Able to read tape measure and perform basic math.
- Must be familiar with blueprints.
- Must be able to continuously produce a leak proof product.
- Able to use pallet jack, forklift, and overhead crane.
- Reliable transportation a must.
- High level attention to detail.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Strict adherence to attendance policy required.
