About The Position

Keeley Companies is seeking skilled Welders for its Gulf Coast Industrial team to perform high-quality welding on commercial projects. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of welding procedures and techniques and be able to work safely and efficiently in diverse field conditions. Welders read construction documentation, coordinate materials, prioritize work according to project schedules, and collaborate with a team to produce welds that meet internal quality standards. Candidates must be available to work all shifts and complete a skills assessment and pre-employment drug screen.

Requirements

• Ability to pass qualification testing: 2-inch monster coupon 6010/7018 and 2.5-inch stainless 316 GTAW.
• Skill in various welding techniques and operation of welding equipment.
• Must have personal basic hand tools; specialty tools are provided by the company.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and tight work areas.
• Must be available to work all shifts.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to lift, climb, bend, and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to tolerate hot environments and maneuver in tight or elevated areas.
• Must agree to complete a skills assessment and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding on commercial projects with minimal guidance.
• Read and interpret isometrics, construction drawings, and welding specifications.
• Weld in horizontal, vertical, overhead, and flat positions on various joint designs.
• Coordinate and requisition materials as needed.
• Prioritize tasks according to the project schedule.
• Follow all company safety standards and procedures.
• Work collaboratively within a team and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Produce final welds that meet internal quality standards.
