About The Position
DVM Focus is representing a full-time Associate Veterinarian opportunity on the Texas Gulf Coast for an experienced DVM who values strong clinical support, schedule flexibility, and the ability to practice comprehensive companion-animal medicine. This opportunity offers a broad general-practice caseload with the resources to pursue individual clinical interests while maintaining a collaborative approach to patient care.
Requirements
- DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
- Texas veterinary license or ability to obtain one
- Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical veterinary experience
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- General surgical and dental competency
- Strong client communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a veterinary team
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and continued professional development
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive companion-animal care, including: Preventive and wellness medicine
- Diagnostic evaluation and medical workups
- Internal medicine
- Dentistry
