About The Position
Hiring experienced and dependable Welders and Fitters for upcoming commercial and industrial projects in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves welding, fitting, fabrication, and installation according to project plans and specifications. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in commercial or industrial welding, fitting, or fabrication and experience with one or more welding techniques.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of commercial and/or industrial welding, fitting, or fabrication experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with one or more welding techniques: MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Flux Core.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Own PPE and tools.
Nice To Haves
- OSHA certification.
- Welding certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding, fitting, fabrication, and installation according to plans and specifications.
- Use welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Flux Core, depending on project requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and measurements.
- Measure, cut, fit, tack, assemble, and install materials and components, including carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, and/or piping systems.
- Set up and operate welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication equipment.
- Perform layout and fit-up of materials before welding and installation.
- Inspect completed work for proper fit, quality, and compliance with specifications.
