About The Position

The company is hiring 32 Structural Welders for direct-hire positions with a heavy equipment manufacturer in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Welders perform MIG/GMAW structural welding on large heavy equipment components, fitting and finishing steel assemblies and producing welds to established specifications. The role includes company-provided training and an in-house welding certification. Starting pay is $26.13 per hour, increasing to $31.76 per hour after certification, with second-shift premium pay bringing earnings up to $33.61 per hour. Overtime opportunities are available, and overtime or extended shifts are required as scheduled.

Training is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for approximately 6–12 weeks. After certification, the position moves to second shift, Monday through Friday, beginning at 2:30 p.m. The stated start dates are November 9 and November 16, 2026.

Requirements

• MIG/GMAW or structural welding experience.
• Ability to read welding blueprints.
• Ability to pass an onsite welding test and obtain in-house certification.
• Must meet ITAR U.S. person requirements.
