About The Position

DeWys Stainless Solutions is hiring a quality-driven Welder to produce metal components that meet customer expectations. The role focuses on MIG welding and includes fitting and aligning metal parts, interpreting blueprints and work instructions, finishing and inspecting welds, and caring for welding and grinding equipment. Nice To Haves

• Previous MIG welding experience is preferred.
• TIG or robotic welding experience is a plus; willingness to learn is also valued.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate welding equipment to perform MIG welding on products and components.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit metal parts according to customer specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and welding requirements.
• Perform finish grinding and spot grinding to meet quality and appearance standards.
• Inspect work for weld quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
• Perform routine maintenance and care of welding and grinding equipment.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Work with teammates and leadership to meet production and quality goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and improve work.
