About The Position

This role involves fabricating pressure vessels by reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials. The welder will use basic hand tools and welding equipment to set up and perform welding tasks, ensuring quality through checks and rework as needed. Safety and adherence to company policies are paramount.

Requirements

• Basic hand tool use
• Pass a 6G pipe 2inch double X pipe welding test with GMAW and FCAW
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills

• 2 years welding experience

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately fabricate pressure vessels.
• Set up and weld parts using welding equipment.
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
• Rework and/or repair welded structures according to engineering specification changes.
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea.
• Work and communicate well with others.
• Comply with all TEJAS Company and HSE policies and procedures.
