About The Position
R.J. Corman Railroad Group is seeking a welder to join our team in Nicholasville, KY. This role involves performing work on earth moving equipment, railroad equipment, and other structures, along with other duties as required.
Requirements
- 5 plus years’ experience in fabrication, Mig and stick welding
- Have passed or able to pass state certification 3G/4G welding test using .045 flux core
- Able to read and understand blueprints
- Able to design and build projects
- Experience with brake press, shear, plasma cutter, torch, and iron worker
- Must be able to travel as needed
- Able to perform physical strenuous work
- Able to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs
- Able to navigate into confined spaces as necessary
- Requires frequent twisting while operating equipment
