About The Position

E.D. Etnyre & Co., a growing, family-owned manufacturer of road maintenance and transportation equipment, is hiring a Welder for its production team in Oregon, Illinois. The role performs MIG welding and constructs components and parts from standard materials, following blueprints, specifications, and work instructions while meeting quality standards and production goals.

This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The schedule is 40–50 hours per week, with daily overtime opportunities and voluntary Saturday overtime. Pay is $21.50–$27.34 per hour based on experience, and the position is eligible for an annual bonus.

Requirements

• Ability to use precision measuring tools.
• Willingness to learn through hands-on experience or on-the-job training.
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
• Ability to frequently bend, climb, twist, and lift up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to install 60-pound spools of wire on welding equipment.
• Ability to occasionally lift loads up to 75 pounds.
