About The Position

The Welder performs heavy manufacturing welding on second shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:30 PM to 11:55 PM. Welds are subject to visual testing (VT) and radiographic testing (RT). The position pays $28.99 per hour, with a $2 shift differential for second shift and an increase after 700 hours following the probationary period. A background check and/or drug screening may be required before employment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with heavy manufacturing welds.
• At least 2 years of experience with GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, and pulse welding.
• Ability to perform manual, semi-automatic, and mechanized welding processes using GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, and pulsed welding.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring instruments, including tape measures, scales, and radius gauges.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Willingness to work in a union work environment.

Responsibilities
