We are looking to hire a Welder for our Large Bearing Manufacturing and Repair area at our Warren, OH location. Experience and skills will determine level and pay rate.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
- Driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- TIG welding experience preferred. Experience welding carbon steel, alloy steel, or precision components is highly desirable
- Overhead crane and forklift experience preferred. Certification not required; training may be provided for qualified candidates
Responsibilities
- Performs TIG welding processes on steel parts using welding metals and metal alloys to assemble large roller bearings
- Welds parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Uses air arc equipment to cut and disassemble components under general supervision
- Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded
- Performs minimal assembly work
- Other work may be assigned at Management’s discretion
