About The Position

The Welder performs essential welding and pipe-related tasks, including tack welding with MIG, flanging pipe, and building and stuffing wall fittings. The role also involves preparing and configuring welding equipment and selecting and connecting the appropriate shielding gas. The individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• Ability to read tags.
• Ability to tack weld with MIG.
• Ability to correctly and efficiently flange pipe.
• Ability to build and stuff wall fittings.
• Ability to correctly change the lead and liner.
• Ability to use and read a tape measure.
• Ability to set up a welder according to specifications.
• Ability to choose the correct shielding gas and attach it to the welding gun.

Nice To Haves

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous factory experience preferred, with 1 to 2 years' experience.

Responsibilities
