About The Position

Precision Custom Components (PCC) is seeking experienced welders to join their team for a 2nd shift position. This is an on-site role at their manufacturing facility in York, PA. The welder will be part of a skilled team that delivers high-quality, made-to-spec components, emphasizing precision, reliability, and customer focus. The position involves collaboration across departments to solve problems, support efficient operations, and ensure components are completed safely, accurately, and with precision. This position is part of a Collective Bargaining Unit (union). The 2nd shift runs Monday-Friday from 3:30 PM to 11:55 PM, with a $2.00 shift differential.

Requirements

Experience as a welder
Ability to use measuring instruments of the trade (scales, tape measure, radius gages, etc.)
Ability to work without direct supervision and direct co-workers
Ability to read and understand blueprints and work inspection packages
Ability to produce products to PCC's quality standards
Good communication skills - ability to speak, read, write and understand English
Good attendance
Ability to work Monday-Friday from 3:30PM to 11:55PM
US Citizenship required at time of hire

Nice To Haves

Entrance weld tests will be VT and RT inspected

Responsibilities

Weld with manual, semi-automatic, and mechanized welding processes (GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, Pulsed)
Ensure welds pass various NDE criteria such as VT, MT, RT, UT
Produce products to PCC's quality standards
Work without direct supervision and direct co-workers
Read and understand blueprints and work inspection packages
