About The Position

This role is responsible for day-to-day production, welding, and fabrication activities. The Welder must follow and enforce company safety policies and safe work practices to ensure the safety of themselves and others. They will establish priorities and accept responsibility for efficiently welding and fabricating materials. The Welder will inspect and verify all aspects of the material (grade, size, quantity, measurements, etc.) when welding & fabricating, reporting any discrepancies or quality issues to the Supervisor. They must scrutinize customer requirements and special instructions to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction, and follow all audit and material traceability procedures. Additionally, the Welder will inspect and operate all related equipment (forklifts, etc.) in accordance with company and safety guidelines, and conduct themselves in a cooperative, safe, productive, and team-oriented manner with supervisors, managers, and employees.

Requirements

• Ability to effectively read and use a tape measure, caliper and micrometer, and other hand tools
• Proven experience operating material handling equipment

Responsibilities
