About The Position

Volt is hiring an Entry-Level Welder for an aerospace manufacturing facility in Rio Rancho, NM. As an Entry-Level Welder, you will perform basic TIG/GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) welding, read and follow repair specifications and OEM requirements, use metalworking tools such as grinders, buffers, and sanders, perform precise welds that meet aircraft industry standards and requirements, inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications, and maintain a safe and organized work environment. This is a Full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Minimum of 1 year of welding experience.
• Strong understanding of measurements and tolerances.
• Must pass FAA drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Stainless Steel, Titanium, Aluminum, and Inconel welding (preferred within 2 months of hire).
• Experience working with aerospace repair and manufacturing specifications.
