The role fabricates and repairs metal components by interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, and completing quality welds using a variety of welding techniques. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with TIG, MMA, and other welding processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- 5–10 years of welding experience.
- Professional welding certification.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Set up and prepare materials for welding operations.
- Perform manual and semi-automatic welding on metal components.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and structural integrity.
- Repair and fabricate metal parts as needed.
- Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area safe and organized.
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
