About The Position

E.D. Etnyre & Co. is hiring a Welder for its production team in Oregon, Illinois. The role performs MIG welding to construct components and parts from standard materials, following blueprints, specifications, and work instructions. Welders are expected to meet quality standards through accurate, timely work while supporting production goals and maintaining a clean, safe work area. The position is on second shift, Monday through Thursday, from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM, with Friday overtime options, for 40–50 hours per week. Compensation is $21.50–$27.34 per hour based on experience, plus a $2.25-per-hour shift premium. The role is eligible for an annual bonus.

Requirements

• Ability to use precision measuring tools.
• Willingness to learn through hands-on experience or on-the-job training.
• Frequent bending, climbing, twisting, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to install 60-pound spools of wire on welding equipment.
• Occasionally lift loads up to 75 pounds.
