Welder - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Etnyre International, a growing, family-owned manufacturer of road maintenance and transportation equipment, is hiring a Welder for its production team in Oregon, Illinois. The role performs MIG welding and constructs components and parts from standard materials, following blueprints, specifications, and work instructions. Welders are expected to meet quality standards through accurate, timely work, support production goals, and maintain a clean, safe work area. This is a second-shift position, Monday through Thursday, from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM, with overtime options on Friday. The schedule is 40–50 hours per week. Pay is $21.50–$27.34 per hour based on experience, plus a $2.25-per-hour shift premium. The position is eligible for an annual bonus. The work involves frequent bending, climbing, twisting, and lifting up to 55 pounds; employees must also be able to install 60-pound wire spools on welding equipment and occasionally lift loads up to 75 pounds. Requirements
- Ability to use precision measuring tools.
- General knowledge of welding techniques and blueprint reading is preferred.
- Willingness to learn through hands-on experience or on-the-job training.
