About The Position

Graver Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Welder for its Vessel Shop in Honeoye Falls, New York. The role supports the manufacture of high-pressure vessels and filter housings. The welder performs a variety of welding functions using various types of welding equipment, and may perform other tasks as directed by supervision. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with 40 expected hours per week. Overtime is listed in the schedule and compensation package. The posting lists hourly pay ranges of $26–$30 based on experience and weld-test results, $25–$30, and a pay range of $27–$33.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of experience working as a welder.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to use various measuring instruments.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.

Nice To Haves

• ASME Code welding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Weld products and document production.
• Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Move parts into and finished products out of the welding area.
• Perform quality checks on finished goods to ensure they meet specifications.
• Complete required documentation related to products produced.
• Document and report raw material consumption for finished products.
• Communicate quality issues to appropriate personnel and provide data to help disposition nonconforming material.
• Ensure operations conform to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Perform other miscellaneous tasks as deemed necessary by supervision.
