About The Position

Werk Brau Co Inc is seeking a full-time Welder for their facility in Findlay, OH. The Welder will be responsible for obtaining parts and blueprints, building products to shape using tack welds, and performing welding according to specifications. This includes single and multiple pass welds, maintaining weld sizes, and inspecting all welds for quality. Any identified bad welds must be cut out and repaired. The role also involves scraping spatter from parts and performing necessary clean-up operations for the work area.

Requirements

• Proficient welder (MIG)
• Ability to read blue prints
• Ability to adjust weld to achieve quality welds within specifications
• Hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Formal training or previous experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Obtain parts and blue prints for product to be manufactured
• Build product to shape (using tack welds), following specifications in the print
• Weld products according to the print
• Perform single and multiple pass welds
• Maintain weld sizes
• Inspect all welds for quality
• Cut out and repair bad welds
• Scrape spatter from part
• Perform clean-up operations as required for the work area
