About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures, parts, and equipment by using various welding techniques. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of welding safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Knowledge of welding safety procedures and regulations.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in a standing or kneeling position for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent (or vocational training in welding).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Welding certification (e.g., AWS, MIG, TIG) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform welding operations on a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine the specifications of the job.
Set up welding equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated and functioning.
Use different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, or Oxy-acetylene welding.
Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Repair and maintain equipment and structures as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA safety regulations.
Keep track of materials and tools used, ensuring proper inventory management.
Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to meet project deadlines.
Troubleshoot welding issues and perform necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
