About The Position

Valley Craft Industries is a stable and growing metal manufacturing company with 70+ years of success. We’re hiring a Welder to join our Lake City team building high-quality material handling products used nationwide. We are one of the top Industrial Cabinet makers in the world! This position operates on a 4-day workweek with shifts from 3:30 PM to 2 AM, with overtime as needed.

Requirements

• 1+ year of MIG welding experience
• Metalworking knowledge & quality focus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Knowledge of metalworking equipment and processes
• Ability to read basic blueprints (training provided)
• Strong attention to quality and safety
• Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

• TIG welding experience

Responsibilities

• Fabricate daily production and custom orders
• MIG and/or TIG welding to quality standards
• Set up and operate welding equipment and machinery
• Position materials using jigs, fixtures, and measuring tools
• Maintain productivity targets (3 cabinets per hour)
• Follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Support light machine maintenance as needed
