About The Position

The MIG Aluminum Welder is responsible for fabricating, fitting, and welding aluminum components in accordance with production specifications and quality requirements. This role utilizes MIG welding equipment to assemble materials, perform weld operations, and verify completed work meets established safety, workmanship, and product standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience performing MIG welding on aluminum materials in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Ability to successfully complete a practical welding assessment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to read measurements and maintain precise tolerances.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50-100 lbs. as required.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environments with fluctuating temperatures and varying weather-related conditions when applicable.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and productivity standards.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Technical training, trade school coursework, or welding certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, align, fit, and weld aluminum components using MIG welding processes.
  • Assemble fabricated parts and components through welding, bolting, fastening, or other approved methods.
  • Inspect completed welds and perform repairs or rework as necessary to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Follow all applicable quality, production, and safety procedures while maintaining a clean work area.
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and fabrication drawings as required.
  • Support production goals by completing tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
