About The Position

We are hiring a Welder/Fitter to assist with the fabrication of steel frames and building components. The role involves welding metal components, following welding procedures, and ensuring work is completed safely and accurately. Candidates with MIG welding experience are preferred. Experience with plasma torches and oxy-acetylene cutting is a plus. Welding certifications are beneficial but not required.

Two shift options are available: 1st shift, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, and 2nd shift, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM. Pay starts at $17.00 per hour and may be higher depending on experience.

Requirements

• Previous welding or fabrication experience is preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math, including working with fractions.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and kneel for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with MIG welding processes.
• Experience using plasma torches or oxy-acetylene cutting equipment.
• Welding certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication of steel frames and building components.
• Use welding equipment, grinders, scrapers, and other fabrication tools safely.
• Follow established welding procedures and company safety policies.
• Read measurements and use a tape measure to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Wear required personal protective equipment at all times.
• Complete assigned tasks while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
