About The Position

ACI Building Systems, LLC. is seeking a Welder-Fitter to assist in fabricating steel frames and building components. The company designs, engineers, manufactures, and delivers pre-engineered steel and building components. The role involves skilled welding and fitting in a safety-focused work environment. Ability to MIG weld and fit is a plus.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 75 pounds, bend, squat, kneel, and/or stand for extended periods.
• Must wear proper safety equipment.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Knowledge of basic math, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity or fluency with MIG processes.
• Previous experience with plasma torches and oxy-acetylene cutting.
• Welding certifications; beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform skilled welding in the fabrication of steel frames and building components.
• Maintain proper housekeeping of the assigned work area.
• Maintain a high awareness of safety.
• Train on company policies and procedures.
• Follow welding procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
