About The Position

Cannonball Recruiting is seeking skilled Welder/Fabricators to fabricate, assemble, and weld structural steel components according to blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings. The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of steel fabrication processes, and proficiency using hand and power tools. The position is offered on 1st or 2nd shift, with pay of $22–$35 per hour.

Requirements

• Experience in structural steel fabrication or a related field.
• Proficiency in MIG and/or Flux Core welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
• Familiarity with steel fabrication tools and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a shop environment.

Nice To Haves

• TIG and Stick welding.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Cut, shape, and assemble steel components using saws, torches, and welding equipment.
• Operate machinery such as shears, press brakes, and drill presses.
• Weld and fit structural steel according to project requirements.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Follow company safety protocols and industry standards.
