About The Position

Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy: Employees | Value | Execution | Relationship. Fabricates and assembles metal products, equipment, and machinery, such as trailers and special framework. Work includes laying out, cutting, shaping, fitting, assembling, welding, and repairing metal components and products, and verifying that work conforms to specifications. Performs additional duties as assigned. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, one to three years of related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience), and passing a 3G Welding Test. Compensation is described as a salary range, bonus, and benefits, but no amounts or specific benefit details are provided. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must pass a 3G Welding Test.
Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
Use of power and hand tools, welding equipment, and cutting equipment.
Considerable knowledge of methods, materials, and tools used in metal fabrication.
Awareness of safety regulations for the welding industry and OSHA.

Responsibilities

Lay out and mark reference points onto components using a tape measure.
Operate machines such as hem saws and drill presses to cut and shape components to specified dimensions.
Fit and assemble components.
Weld components together with a MIG welder using flex core wire.
Develop layouts and plan the sequence of operations.
Position, align, fit, and weld parts together.
Design and construct templates and fixtures.
Verify that workpieces conform to specifications.
Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products.
Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them in position for welding.
Assemble parts by bolting.
Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
