About The Position

Savannah Tank & Equipment is hiring experienced Welder/Fabricators for ASME code work. This role involves manufacturing and fabricating steel tanks, pressure vessels, and/or components according to blueprints and company procedures. Requirements

• Previous experience in welding and metal fabrication (5+ years required)
• Experience with MIG and Flux Core welding in stainless and carbon steels. TIG and Sub-Arc experience also relevant.
• Solid familiarity with welding equipment, procedures, and symbols
• Must pass company weld test. For candidates currently living more than 50 miles from Savannah, a video weld test may be submitted.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform basic math involving fractions and degrees
• Ability to accurately read tape measure, blueprints and schematics
• Ability to handle physical workload including ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must pass pre-employment drug test

Nice To Haves

• TIG and Sub-Arc experience also relevant.

Responsibilities
