About The Position
Creates, modifies, and/or repairs automotive drivetrain parts using welding, lathe or other forms of repair/modification tools.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Welding experience (minimum 5 years).
- Machining experience.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
- Good attention to detail and results/self-driven approach.
- Good communication skills.
- MIG/TIG welding experience on steel and aluminum.
- Maintain an organized work environment.
- Follow established safety procedures and policies.
Responsibilities
- Understand specifications and desired result.
- Reading and understanding blueprints and diagrams.
- Prepare and load materials onto the machine or table.
- Welding, grinding, blending
- Using hand tools, power tools, and machines (lathe, mill, etc).
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process is within specification.
- Physically able to lift up to 100lbs.
