About The Position

Horsepower Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join its production team, building off-road truck parts in a fully air-conditioned facility. The role focuses primarily on production MIG welding at volume, with regular TIG welding on selected assemblies. The welder builds laser-cut, automated parts into complete assemblies from start to finish, including grinding, finishing, and quality verification. The position offers a choice of first or second shift, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years old.
At least 2 years of MIG and/or TIG welding or fabrication experience is preferred.
At least 1 year of experience working in a production environment.
Strong working knowledge of MIG and TIG welding techniques.
Experience with production welding and assembly workflows.
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, bending, cut-off saws, and grinders.
Ability to read and interpret CAD prints and product schematics.
Self-motivated and responsive to production metrics.
A team-oriented approach that puts group success first.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Ability to work either first shift (7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.) or second shift (2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.).

Nice To Haves

MIG and/or TIG welding or fabrication experience of at least 2 years is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel structures according to CAD print requirements.
Build complete assemblies from start to finish, including grinding and finishing.
Read and interpret product schematics and verify dimensions against specifications.
Track daily production build counts and workflow.
Operate manufacturing tools and welding equipment according to job specifications.
Ensure quality-control standards are met for every weld and build.
Follow all safety standards.
