About The Position

The Welder/Fabricator is an entry-level welding position responsible for the safe and efficient fabrication of steel products. Work is completed under close supervision. The role is located in West Fargo, North Dakota, and operates on the night shift Monday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., with overtime as needed. Pay is $23.50–$26.00+ per hour, depending on experience, plus a $2 shift differential and a full benefits package.

Requirements

• Ability to perform simple flat and horizontal welds and flat groove welds.
• Ability to fit and weld subassemblies with tack or spot welds.
• Ability to perform measurements within specified tolerances.
• Knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization, and welding equipment setup and maintenance.
• General knowledge of equipment and operations.
• Basic understanding of weld symbols.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to read a tape measure in imperial and metric units.
• Ability to accept responsibility and account for one's actions.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to be truthful and credible in the workplace.
• Ability to make decisions or take action to solve a problem or reach a goal.
• Dependable and trustworthy.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of welding experience preferred.
